Review: ARTDECO Glam Stars Eyelights

A product that really surprised me in a good way.This is the description from the official Artdeco web site:

Prekrasan svjetlucavi dizajn ovog kompakta koji ukljucuje i ogledalo je najistaknutiji na poklopcu i dostupan je u dvije razlicite koloritne kombinacije. Puderasti proizvod ne sadrzi parfeme niti lanolin."

I definitely could describe it as both, eyeshadow and highlighter but it really falls in the eyeshadow category. You will find it's made in 2 color combinations (as stated), brown and blue. I have the bluish-grey one. The first thing you notice is the beautiful design. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. As I mentioned, I primarily regard it as an eyeshadow although you can use the lightest shade as a highlighter. Pigmentation varies from shade to shade. White shade is light and the shimmer is quite intense. You can use it on your eyelid but it's best to use it to brighten the corners of your eyes or the brow bone (that's the highlighting part). The silver shade with the blue undertone is more intense, more pigmented and very versatile. The darkest, charcoal shade is good for contouring and adding more depth.What I noticed when I looked up reviews of Glam Stars Eyelights on the net, is that some people who purchased this product weren't impressed with its performance. The main criticism was about the distinct shimmer and many thought how it wasn't something that couldn't be pulled off as part of a day look. I understand that some people don't feel comfortable using make-up that contains even the slightest trace of shimmer and prefer matte finish. Those who like experimenting, I encourage you to try Glam Stars Eyelights. For the rest, leave it for the night make-up look.

Ja bih definitivno mogla okarakterisati ovaj proizvod i kao sjenu i kao iluminator ali ipak vise spada u kategoriju sjene za oci. Primjetiti cete da je ovaj proizvod dostupan u dvije nijanse kao sto je navedeno, plavicasto-sivoj i smedjoj. Ja imam plavo-sivi kompakt. Prva stvar koju cete primjetiti je zaista lijep dizajn. Kao sto sam spomenula, ja ga smatram prije svega sjenom za oci iako mozete koristiti najsvjetliju nijansu kao iluminator. Pigmetacija varira od nijanse do nijanse. Bijela je blago pigmentirana i ima izrazene sljokice. Mozete je koristiti klasicno na kapcima ali je najbolje iskoristiva u unutrasnjim uglovima ociju ili ispod obrve. Srebrenkasta nijansa sa plavim podtonom je intenzivnija, jace pigmentisana i mozete je koristiti kako zelite. Najtamnija, ugljeno siva nijasna je odlicna za konturisanje i postizanje dubine oka. Kada sam malo istrazila recenzije ovog proizvioda primjetila sam da odredjeni kupci nisu zadovoljni sa njim. Kritike su uglavnom usmjerene na izrazene, krupne sljokice sto mnogi ne smatraju da se moze nositi po danu. Razumijem da se neko ne osjeca uopste ugodno koristeci sminku koja sadrzi i najmanji trag sljokica te preferira mat zavrsetak. Onima koji su skloniji eksperimentisanju itekako preporucujem Glam Stars Eyelights. Ostali neka ih ostave za vecernji make-up.
