My love towards eyeshadows and eyeshadow palettes has definitely simmered down as "one wash wonders" and something warm in the crease has been my go-to eye routine for quite a while. I have no idea how or why this has happened but I've streamlined my eyeshadow collection so much that I've left only my Urban Deacay palettes. I only would like to own their Ultimate Basics palette because of the quality I love about their shadows (and that goreous rusty organe number!). Since I am open to purchases of single eyeshadows (actually, Burberry Pale Barley would be perfect for me) I can use all over the lid, the Colourpop craze grabbed my attention.
Hugo Boss is a fragrance brand I wasn't instinctively drawn to as it appeared classic and not very adventuruous - from a teenager standpoint, that is. During the first years I dated my husband I wanted to purchase a gift for his birthday. That first gift wasn't a Hugo Boss fragrance - it was a Dolce&Gabbana D&G fragranced deo spray. It's what I could afford with my teenager allowance back then and I saved for a few weeks for it but it was totally worth it because he loved it.
I can't believe that I've become a breakfast person but - I have! I used to struggle with breakfast before, skipping it most mornings which is, indeed, one of the worst meal-related decisions to make. We're not always told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for nothing as it is a deciding factor of how my day will be. When I make sure I eat something fulfilling and wholesome, I feel great and energized so I've made eggs and oatmeal my most frequent and most-loved breakfast options. Today I want to share the love I feel towards oatmeal and how to make it a beloved and foolproof breakfast option.
Ever since the end of last year I was under the impression I've lost interest in nail polish. For some reason, I haven't been utilizing my rather large nail polish collection and the box(es) I keep it in even started to collect dust *gasp!*. The only polish I've worn was Essie Sand Tropez which fits with everything and goes well with anything. Or I kept nails natural and just kept them hydrated with my beloved alverde apricot cuticle oil.
Pamper-loving gals will just love these - Afrodita Cosmetics 100% SPA Massage Oils (150ml | 3,60 €) are an affordable luxury without frills or false claims as they do exactly what they say (and without breaking the budget). Whether you really are committed to having pamper sessions daily/weekly or if you're someone who barely squeezes one per month *raiseshand* these massage oils will be perfect for that role but also - you can use them as regular nourishing oils for different skin types and concerns as each contains particular oil blends and natural scents to suit their purpose.
Insider blogger information from me to you - L'Occitane makes one of the best events/promotions. There are many contributors that make an event truly special. From the theme, the place where it's held, the decor, the people, the atmosphere - it all should connect into a whole, into a proper story. And L'Occitane does exactly that - and then some more.
I've purchased a couple of trendy liquid lipsticks from different brands and they all have shown to wear well but, just like a primer comes handy even underneath the best foundation - a lipstick primer definitely helps, especially one that mattifies even further, makes lips plumper and gives extra few hours of wear.

Muffin making is one of those calming rituals I resort to whenever I feel the workload is stressing me. I love calm evenings when the kitchen smells of cinnamon, vanilla and anise whilst we're both busy making food. I've heard that people who aren't brilliant cooks are good at making sweet desserts.
I've become a really big fan of tuna and, since I've tried smoked tuna and tuna steak, I know canned tuna doesn't do justice to this gorgeous fish meat. Smoked tuna I find to be more delicious than smoked salmon but nothing can beat a good tuna steak. It's such a delicacy and it's actually not complicated to make. I've decided to pair it with organic brown basmati rice, grilled peppers and lamb's lettuce.
Limited editions have that certain charm which makes us want them so bad and in the skincare world nobody does them better than L'Occitane. One cannot go wrong with their shea butter range and this year, it's rose-scented in such a beautiful way, I believe many will have their faith in rose scents restored after getting acquainted with this LE collection. L'Occitane Shea Whipped Rose Trio is a gorgeous set of well-known quality with a rose scent - this rose is very soft, gentle and clean-smelling which goes perfectly with the fluffy texture of the collection.
Doesn't the sight of this stunning bowl make you feel good? I hope so because I always, always feel better when I know I'm about to eat something so beautiful, so nutritious and so healthy. Not to mention - easy to make! I love power breakfast bowls, they're so convenient to make in batches, freeze and bring to work when needed. And you can make them any way you want.
BB cream or a barely-there lick of foundation, groomed brows, some bronzer, sheeny highlighter, mascara and a lip balm is pretty much what I've been wearing daily. I must say that eyeshadow isn't something I find excitement in as much but lipsticks have certainly become the focus, especially on days when I need to be extra polished.

Despite the fact spring is really not as close, I feel like I'm completely ready to forgo winter with all its chill and darkness. I'm well prepared for warmer weather, sunshine, nature awakening and I guess those desires translate into the kitchen.
